Privacy Policy
Effective May 28, 2026. What we collect, why, and what we do with it.
1. What we collect
We collect the minimum we need to operate as a research-materials supplier:
- Account data — email, password hash, optional full name.
- Order data — shipping address, email, items, totals, payment processor tokens (we do not store full card numbers).
- Newsletter — email address you submit voluntarily.
- Site usage — standard server logs (IP, user agent, referer, timestamps) for security and analytics.
2. Why we collect it
- To process and ship your orders.
- To send transactional email (confirmations, COAs, shipping updates).
- To send newsletter content you opted into.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and shipment to restricted jurisdictions.
- To comply with applicable law.
3. Who we share it with
We share data with a small set of vendors who need it to operate the service: our database host, our payment processor, our shipping carriers, and our email-delivery provider. Each is bound by a data processing agreement and uses your data only on our instructions. We do not sell your personal information.
4. International transfers
Our infrastructure is primarily in the United States. If you order from outside the US, your data is transferred to and processed in the US. We rely on standard contractual clauses where required.
5. Retention
Account and order records are retained for as long as your account is active and for up to seven years thereafter for tax and regulatory purposes. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Server logs are retained for 90 days.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email hello@purebiopeptides.us to exercise any of these. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use cookies strictly necessary for the site to function (session, cart, auth) and a small set of first-party analytics cookies to understand traffic in aggregate. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising.
8. Security
Passwords are hashed with industry-standard algorithms. Payment data is handled by our payment processor and never touches our servers. Database access is restricted to the smallest set of engineers necessary, with audit logging.
9. Children
Our site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
